A Beautiful Story Behind the Design

Inspired by the lush nuances of Roses and her fond childhood places, artist Adriana Picker illustrated the box upon her lifelong love of Roses for this year’s limited Intense Deluxe Edition. As an expression of her love for Nature and botanics, Adriana adores this artwork as “it focuses not on the blooms but more on the leaves and buds and hips. Highlighting that the beauty of a rose comes not only from its much-celebrated flowers but also the entirety of the plant, that grows and exists and supports the plant all year round, even in the absence of the bloom...this view allows us to seek and find beauty in overlooked places, in the unremarkable, in the everyday.”



About the Artist: Adriana Picker

Australian artist Adriana Picker grew up in New South Wales. She now resides in New York, but her upbringing surrounded by nature has played a large influence in her work. She is famous for her botanical illustrations, has illustrated three books The Garden of Earthly Delights, Where the Wildflowers Grow,and The Cocktail Garden, and has previously worked with renowned publications such as Vogue and Gourmet Traveller.
